Ralf Schumacher’s wife Cora has backed the struggling Toyota driver in a bid to help him up his game for the rest of the season.
“In difficult situations, Ralf develops an extreme ambition,” Cora explained. “Everyone who knows him properly knows that his single goal is to bring the Toyota team forwards.”
Ralf Schumacher has been ordered by his team to reduce the number of PR appearances and interviews he does in a bid to focus his mind and help improve his form. He has also asked bosses to let him test the car whenever it is possible.
Cora Schumacher believes that her husband has made significant steps forward in the past few weeks, but was unable to show his progress in Barcelona. She believes that he will be able to show some better form at the next Grand Prix in Monaco. “I know what Ralf knows,” she explained. “He will be strong in Monaco.”
