It's my day off so I decided to try a new recipe/marinate for chicken breast and man oh man it is a fantastic 'jerk chicken' recipe, sweet because of the cinammon but then it has a mild afterkick due to the cayenne pepper. I also grilled a backstrap from an Axis deer gently rubbed with a sweet tasting rub.

I spent eighteen hours making a five tiered cake about two days ago.
Instead of icing,I use chocolate mousse and wild berries.
To make the consistency of the mix just right, instead of using milk,
I whip some milk and thickened cream together, and add it to the mix.
The yolk and white of the egg need to be separated and whipped as well, before adding them together.
And instead of powdered cocoa, I used cocoa beans, which made it lovely (:

It was absolutely gorgeous, if I do say so myself (:
It was for a charity fundraiser, so I only got a piece or two of the left overs, hahah.

I made blueberry muffins from scratch today (:
I went to Canberra on the way, and passed an orchard, so I got to pick them myself as well.

I'm going to totally bake you guys one of my cakes one day :D
I don't know the logistics of how you guys are going to eat it, but we'll find a way. (:

I't would not hurt but 'ol Tex is a great cook and has hosted a few intimate dinner's for special lady's in my day. My compass is alway's pointing north be it mentally of physically, yah I know typical male answer :whip: .

Anyway I'm gonna experiment with a new marinate tomorrow for grilled chicken so I'll post the result's.

Happy eating to all,
tex
