Williams quit Barcelona test early

Despite fitting new front wings to the cars, Williams have decided to stop their weekend test at Barcelona.

On the first day of testing, Kazuki Nakajima had a high speed crash thanks to a crack in his front wing. The team temporarily stopped testing until new parts had been flown to the Spanish track from their HQ in England. Having fitted the new parts to both cars, the team resumed testing however after a day of testing, the team are not happy that the front wing problems have been resolved and therefore, in the interest of safety, have chosen to abandon the test until a full solution has been found. The team are hoping that they will be able to find a solution quickly and will be present at next week s test in Jerez.
