Williams continue to work on KERS

Williams will continue to work on their revolutionary KERS system and have plans to introduce it at a later date, according to the team’s technical director Sam Michael.

Currently only Ferrari and Mclaren run KERS on their cars during the Grand Prix weekend, and the eight FOTA teams’ have agreed for the system to be abolished in time for next season.

However with their explusion from FOTA, Williams do not have to abide by any agreement made, and so have continued to work on their Fly-Wheel KERS system.

“We still have a team of people working on KERS, but I don’t want to put a date on when we’ll run it for the first time,” Michael told F1-Live.com
