Dennis: I’m not quitting

Despite increasing pressure over the espionage sagas, McLaren boss Ron Dennis has said he has no intentions of quitting the sport.

McLaren were forced to make an apology to the FIA earlier this month after not realising how far Ferrari confidential data had permeated through the organisation. McLaren may be in trouble after an FIA technical inspection threw up suggestions that some parts for their 2008 challenger may have had Ferrari influences. McLaren have responded by offering a design moratorium on these developments.

“I m not going to quit that is 100%,” Dennis said in an interview with British tabloid The News of the World. “I know there are people out there who want me to retire but I m not. I do not think it would be in the best interests of the team.”
