Because of this email and Scott Andrews disclaiming it as his words they then made up a new rule in which the Luizzi incident was not protested by any other team, so ofcourse Ferrari do not want to give McLaren the lead in the drivers title by 7 points nor by 1 point in the constructors they stuck their nose in a matter that should only have been dealt with by McLaren and the FIA

Um, who did LH try to pass and then cut the corner to get in front of? Wasn't that a red car by any chance? Wasn't that a direct involvement in the whole incident?

Ferrari's legal team were arguing over the case for it being admissable they were in affect arguing on behalf of Massa and his benefit and that being a guy not involved
not Kimi so dont try that slant!:rolleyes:

you know DD for a BMW Sauber fan you have pretty thick set red goggles still

Ferrari didn't make up the rules, even though some people think they did :) .
I agree these kind of issue's are very difficult to handle for the fans, just because we can't judge this on an objective way.
Fact is that the result of Spa is not changing. I'm convinced this will motivate all Mclaren and Hamilton fans to support their team even more! I think, in a way, that's more dangerous than those extra points Lewis lost in Belgium.

Again, let's just enjoy the 4 races, beginning in Singapore. I know that's easy to say as a Ferrari -fan. But we all share the same passion, we all love the same sport, let's shake hands and hope we can watch Felipe and Massa racing and fighting for every single inch on the track !

Forza Ferrari!

Well yes it might as well be Filipe racing Massa as Hamilton will be factored out by the FIA!

No Ferrari didnt make the rules, they just take every oportunity to bend them in their favour , aided and abetted by the FIA.

So Spa will motivate Hamilton and all his fans will it? Well he can rest happy then if he loses the chamionship by 6 points that Spa was a motivational lesson for him

Eddie just ignores alot of discrepancies and its easy to overlook them if you want to keep your head in the sand
he ignores the fact during the race McLaren did everything in their control to ensure they were not penalised by asking for clarification by the race director! they were not given the opportunity to tell Lewis you will be looked at after the race if you dont give back the position for the second time!

Eddie over looks the conduct of the FIA in regards to the Scott Andrews email falsifying statements in readiness for their inadmissible decision which with the email would say they had their mind made up in advance.

Because of this email and Scott Andrews disclaiming it as his words they then made up a new rule in which the Luizzi incident was not protested by any other team, so ofcourse Ferrari do not want to give McLaren the lead in the drivers title by 7 points nor by 1 point in the constructors they stuck their nose in a matter that should only have been dealt with by McLaren and the FIA

this whole saga just goes to show how sad F1 is and added to the fact this and every other F1 forum or site has more news and discussion on politics, a drivers quotes, a drivers ego and any other off track BS instead of things that actually should matter to a real fan of F1 and for racing for that matter!

and by the way the REAL championship points for the top 2 are as follows.

Constructor title
McLaren 133
Ferrari 132

Drivers title
Hamilton 82
Massa 75

I was just about to say all of this as well. Eddie Jordan is a decent guy, but I'm afraid he's missed out on crucial pieces of information on this one.

And what will you say if Ferrari win one or both titles by, say, a point?

Ferrari has the contructors' title in mind as well...

And I root for my boy FM first, I'm only secondarily supporting a team, and yes, it's BMW Sauber.

Yip, it's okay to be potentially screwed out of a title. More motivation for next season. :bs:

Sorry, of course I mean Lewis and Hamilton

Okay, That's what I meanth by objectivity ... I'm convinced Ferrari didn't bend anything, and you're convinced the FIA just hate Mclaren. Fair enough. My point is, what can we do about it ? When the FIA changed the rules in 2003, tifosi were complaining because they believed they did it to avoid another Ferrari -walk-over. I never shared that opinion, but what could I do about it ...? Nothing , right.

I know what you mean, but I didn't use irony in my message...a bit sad people are always seeking the negative side of a post.

But I respect your point of view and your dissapointement. It shows you're a real fan, in a way.

And Likewise Ferrari cannot really be blamed. The fault lies with the FIA (though Ferrari are quick to exploit). The organisation is an amateur shambles sticking two fingers up at real fans and its a disgrace. The sad thing is nothing can be done, if it could Mosely would have been out of office following his widely published Nazzi whipping jamboree.

I agree the FIA are a bunch of amateurs! That's the dangerous thing about a sport where the big money is the most important factor! It's all about the money ... decissions are made by prominent fat lazy businesspeople. Like I read some days ago...they should asign some ex-drivers etc.

It's a disgrace.

And McLaren is not/has not and will not exploit? The absurd bias in that statement is frankly ABSURD!

It's more than that, too, for there is no accountability in the FIA. Mosley, for instance, can do what he wants when he wants and nobody can stop him.

Wake up Tex!
McLaren is in no position to exploit as you well know. It is partly because of Max's paranoid hatred of ron dennis that the Fia are aligned to ferrari. So how is this exploitation by mcLaren to take place??
