I agree. Hamilton's accident in Canada was appalling and deserved punishment. Raikkonen taking out Sutil was a racing incident. Sometimes these things happen, particularly in the wet on street circuits.

I agree with Hamilton's penalty in Canada. I'm a huge fan of his but I know that was a stupid judgement call on his part and yes he should have been penalized. Raikkonen in Monaco is very similar to Kovalinan at Spa a bad judgement in slick conditions both driver's made stupid mistakes the Mclaren gets penalized the Ferrari does not.
Regardless of any other races, Kimi was racing while off the race track 3 times at Spa and he received no penalties. He also passed under a local yellow flag 2nd last lap turn 12 and still received no penalty, How is this unbiased? FIA need to throw out their "guest race stewart" policy and have 4 qualified stewarts with F1 experience that travel to every race to make these types of decisions. Let the race and championship be won by the fastest driver and the fastest car, not have the races or season championship decided by some guest Stewarts with no F1 experience.

Kovalainen made a half-hearted attempt to pass Webber that was never going to work out. He did not commit to the move at all, he spent the entire length of the straight trying to decide whether or not to try the move, and subsequently damaged his own and Webber's chances of scoring a decent points finish. He caused an avoidable accident. Kimi's in Monaco was far less avoidable.

As for Raikkonen in Spa: yes, he did pass under a yellow. However, his pass was made because Hamilton went wider off the track. You can't exactly say he didn't give the position back because he didn't have chance to - Hamilton was just making his way back on to the track as Raikkonen spun his car round, so Hamilton took back the position anyway. You can't tell one way or the other whether or not he was going to give back the position.

I don't see how Kimi could possibly be to stupid to not realize his Ferrari can outbreak a Force India car, But that's not the point he made a bad decision and hit another car taking him out of the race, and he did not get a penalty and he should not have gotten a penalty. Kovalinan pretty much did the same thing he made a bad decision and ran into someone else and he was penalized.
There are 3 options for the stewarts when someone breaks the rules 1. a drive through penalty , 2. a 25 second penalty and 3. a 10 grid position penalty on the next race. Kimi passed under the yellow, no question about it and no penalty,
granted options 1 and 2 were a mute point because Kimi crashed, but option 3 was still available. He broke the no passing under yellow rule, this is much worse than what Hamilton did and he received no penalty. The Spa stewarts were doing everything they could to take points and positions away from Mclaren all race and FIA needs to fix this behavior because it's ruining the sport.

The problem with Ferrari/ Maclaren is that there are so many fans of both teams that they get so passonate about the racing. I love F1 and have gone to most GP since the early '80s and have all races on tape/disc. I don't support any team I just love the racing.
There has always been bias in F1.
At present, and since the early Schumacher years (before Ferrari) there were some strange decissions in his favour. These became extremely noticable when he strarted to race for Ferrari. I'm not suggesting it is his doing but I think he must have a gaurdian angel in the FIA. Ferrari have always been a favourite.
There has been no presadent for the latest decision. In fact watching recordings of the past 2 seasons you will see many drivers, including Ferrari, cutting corners, giving back position and immediatly overtaking with no penalty. Lets face it if Lewis didn't crop the corner Ferrari would have smashed into Lewis (probably without penalty) to leave the win to third place Massa.
Last season and this the bias has been so noticeable, both in favour of Ferrari and against Maclaren, that a blind can see it.
Why? well perhaps a certain gentleman in the FIA didn't like be set-up by (perhaps) a team owner. One doesn't look good in a Nazi S&M party! Perhaps it is a colour issue, the FIA doesn't like silver cars!
What ever the reason us peasents won't find out the darker going ons in this big bucks sport.
Lets just keep the racing good and if they want to cheat, make it a little less obvious.

It had nothing to do without braking. As for it being a bad choice, I fail to see how. It's not like Kimi sat there in his car asking himself: "should I brake where it's dry or should I brake where it's wet and I could lose the car?"

Yes, he did pass under a yellow at Spa, but because Hamilton went wider than he did. It's like you overtaking someone on the formation lap because they slow down massively. It's not because you were trying to pass them...

He probably is. That's only thing that immediately springs to mind anyway. Whether that's part of conspiracy as such, I'm not sure. We've seen some stupid decisions on this area all season long. Still, I'm of the view that the FIA probably were having a little snigger at this.

In an interview on the official F1 site last year MM was quoted as saying he doesnt like Ron Dennis and hasn't for many years, he then went on to say he is great friends with ferrari and their chiefs and what ferrari say and do influence F1 greatly.
IF YOU DON'T THINK THIS IS BIASED PLEASE LEAVE YOUR ADDRESS SO I KNOW WHERE TO SEND THE MEN WITH THE STRAIGHT JACKETS

I love his name!! But think it would be better if it was:- wankersmanageandensurepointsareregularlygiventoFerrari
Bit long to fit in that little space I suppose but seems a shame to hit on the drivers when the wankerness only affects them when they join ferrari.
