Lucky lucky boy wasn't he. Three times a lucky boy in that race
1) git away with locking up a the first corner
2) got away with leaving the track
3) got away with the brake failure.

Lucky in Monaco too, got away with the parking thing.

And in the British GP last year after Lewis' tyre exploded they called Rosberg in and his was on the point of explosion.

Very lucky boy.

Hamilton was pretty lucky that timo glock gifted him a world championship

You were much smarter before becoming a Rosberg fan. :hehe:

:rofl::rofl: One would think I'd have learned to root for the other teammate by now!

For real though, luck has played a role in many championships so I'm being cheeky yet truthful at the same time :D

Not truthful in that instance, sorry. You did watch the race right? Glock slowing down on the last lap was not an element of luck for Hamilton and I trust you realize that.

I agree with Geet, there is an element of luck, in pretty well any sport.
It's usually found in the timing of circumstances and is usually something
that happens, which is unexpected.

Look at the Canadian GP, to some extent, there was an element of luck
for Ricciardo to catch up to Rosberg and then pass him for the win.

Button unexpectedly came out of "nowhere" to finish 4th.

Luck or fate?

You'll have to elaborate for me. I've seen only highlights of it. I thought glock had an off two or three turns before the straight because he was on dry tires in the wet?

edit: I just rewatched the last lap. Yeah glock slowed down two turns before the end. Was it because of his dry tires? Lucky hamilton :P

I love how it's only Hamilton winning because of luck.

So Kimmi didn't win his 2007 championship because is was handed to him on a silver platter?

Hamilton was lucky in Brazil because of Glock and not a peep about being docked the race winning points in Belgium ironically because he cut the chicane while battling Kimi in the wet and was penalized 25 seconds. Cutting the chicane... got him a 25 second penalty.

Nico is a LUCKY boy.

Trulli's times where comparible to Glocks so I do not believe that he slowed down for Hamilton.

Yeah that's a good point. I'm not saying at all hamilton has won four races this year because of luck. He outright smoked everybody four races in a row. Idk jack about the 2007 championship, or much more about the 2008 championship. I totally get how pissed people are cuz of the 2008 spa incident. The stewards should have let it be from what I've seen, the same way they let it be for rosberg.

I can see Geets point - to a degree.

It could be seen as lucky for Hamilton, that at that point in time, O'Glock was on drys, lost time, and allowed Hamilton to claw back that one place he needed.

However the championship isnt won on one place, or one point. Its an accumulation of a seasons hard work. So a championship cant be won on just luck.

Its also funny how it is ok to comment on how UNlucky Hamilton has been - but not to comment on how Lucky he has been in the past.
