I don't think that, that pit girl is that hot.

She hasnt been photoshopped and airbrushed, and she looks like she would not be shy at all, thats hotter than Danica in my eyes

It's ridiculous that I can't voice an opinion without coming under scrutiny for not agreeing with the majority!

Expressing an opinion on a public discussion forum is to invite scrutiny. No ones saying you need to agree with the majority, just that you should be prepared for counter opinions and a challenge to yours from those who do not agree.

Now this is the tricky bit - as long as there is no argumentum ad hominen, and everyone focusses on the topic of discussion and not the credibility of other members then thats where it ends. Agreement or an agreement to disagree

OK, I just thought she was slightly above average to be honest, so I was surprised by your proclamation. (yes I know it is the eye of the beholder) I would also rate her above Danica as well

I'm not saying she's the most beautiful looking grid girl ever, just saying she is hot, as in disturbing, 'motivational' , flesh stirring etc etc. A lot is to do with the fact she doesn't appear 'prudish' and probably would not be interested in discussing downforce or nascar

Interesting. As a female observer I find Danica the more attractive.

Sagi you have now confused me completely. It's not modelling per se you object to, but modelling that you personally don't find tasteful?
I actually find Danica's picture more tasteful than the ones you posted. perhaps it's because she's more attractive....well I think she. The fist girl looks like she's on the way to an S&M party, which is fine if that's the looks she's after. But why is that ok but not Danica's ? I don't get that at all...

Not sure why the confusion.

We were talking specifically about that one picture of Ms. Parker splayed across the hood of that car. It's the combination of attire, setting and pose that I'm suggesting are sending out the wrong message to young women. Yes, she's pretty, she's sexy and in great shape; but, I couldn't care less that she's modelling, so much as I believe she's exploiting her sexuality.

Susie Wolff, on the other hand, is also posing/modelling, provocatively; but, as you can see, the context is different. It's not about the cars, or the blatant sexuality exuded by Danica Parker, it's about Ms. Wolff's femininity. That one is more attractive than the other, is really pretty subjective and not the issue here. I posted those pictures to show that you don't have to be naked to be sexy, nor do you have to be "open for business" to be provocative.

That's the difference, as far as I'm concerned.

...To answer a question you posed to cookie. Would you be happy if you're daughter was a model? If you addressed it to me I'd have no objections whatsoever.

Again, my question was based solely on that particular pose, in the particular context, in that particular attire, NOT modelling in general. I don't have a problem with modelling, in general, as it's just as honourable as any other profession. And, just like any other profession, choices and decisions need to be made as to what sort of image one wants to project.

Challenging "exactly" what I've said is one thing, as long as it's what I've said.
You don't always "get" what I've put forth and compensate by putting your own
spin on it... that's where things get "tricky"!!

By the way, that's good advice... good enough for you to follow, too, I guess?

Sagi, Danica is modelling swim wear, how's she supposed to do that with a dress on? Hold the bikini up on a hanger?

So you don't have a problem with modelling, only with modelling things that make the model sexy? Or when you say choices and image she wants are you suggesting that she model swimwear by looking serious and with a dictionary in hand or she shouldn't model swim wear. So who's meant to model swim wear,? Dummies? Or is it ok if she is not a racing driver?

Ok, so you say Susie is also modelling but in a manner that women should be happy about, why are her legs on display? What's she modelling? Whys she got make up on? The second picture she's in a bikini, and that's ok because she looks like she's going swimming? And not in the missionary position? But in the first picture she is in the doggy position, but that's ok because she has a dress on?

I am not sure I possess enough female hormones to understand any of this

I must be lacking those female hormones too because I just don't get it. Both girls are using their femininity/ sexuality to model. Both in bikinis . Both using a car. One just pulls it off better.

You don't like girls, especially girls with another career to model. Ok, I get that, I disagree but respect your stance. But how you can call one of those pictures acceptable and the other not is beyond me.

What?? I don't like girls with another career to model?? How did you ever come to that conclusion??
Again, it's the being splayed sunny side up that irked me!

To be honest, I couldn't care less if she'd done so naked!!
