I believe I read that Vettel has some contractual obligations to BMW that may prevent him from going to Ferrari if BMW wants to sign him.

Take Heikki for example, he almost got p2, which would have been better then Hamilton's start to his career, don't see the press going crackers over him. Kind of dilutes Hamilton's efforts and shows you it's more the car he's driving as opposed to his 'god like' skill behind the wheel.

Heikki almost got P2 for Renault last year in Melbourne??
Compare Lewis's start to someone who has something in common - Nelson Piquet
who both in their first race had Fernando in the other garage some claim to "steal" setup information Lewis finished one position behind Fernando and Nelson didnt even finsh after underperforming in Q.
think Demure you just need to dilute your hate to anything McLaren.

I don't hate MacLaren, I don't like them however I do respect them.
I definitely think Lewis Hamilton is too cheesy and I don't buy into all they hype surrounding him, he's doing a good job in a fantastic car, but nothing more.
He'll get a couple of world championships and when he's sick of everyone saying it's the car and not him he'll goto a lesser team and try to do a Schumacher, if he still dominates then I'll take my hat off to him...
I'd have to double check the charts but I think 4 is the most Champ Car titles anyone has brought to F1. I am hopeful for him and hope he can graduate to better teams soon. Top teams used to steal their stars and I'm a bit surprised that didn't happen to Bourdais, yet I'm also relieved he wasn't thrust into the deep end. Besises JV they usually end badly(M. Andretti, Zanardi, Montoya, DaMatta). Maybe something in between would have been more appropriate?
I know a win's a win, but there's no way Bordais's titles are as good as those won by Montoya, Zanardi, Villeneuve, etc. CART's been a pretty weak championship for a few years now, whereas when Montoya won it was still a top championship with some outstanding drivers.
Lets be fair, Even if Carts not what it was, Bourdais didn't just win, He DOMINATED for 4 years, Nobody got near to touching him, So yeah Cart might of been a little barren but it did at least have one big talent.
Oh, that's definitely possible. But that's the thing that bugs me - people will say he was instantly better than whoever because he almost won the championship. Well, okay then. But then if I ask them if they can name anyone else who was given the same opportunity as him, they cannot.
