Another Button win by stealth with no one noticing him until he’s in the lead.
Good pass on Alonso which is no mean feat. All in all a very mature and sensible race. No unnecessary risks and knowing that the car wasn’t the fastest at early in the race.
Then to cap it all he nearly took out di Resta and the guy behind (can’t remember who that was). It was stupid for him to not wait until there was a bit of a gap and the penalty was just.

I certainly noticed him as he worked his way past Vettel. I also found him hard to miss as he battled with team-mate Hamilton. Good on McLaren for having the guts to let their drivers race... something that never fails to make RBR and Ferrari faint at the thought of.

He possesses a racer's instinct, and had the lead at stake. He said he didn't see Di Resta at all, which is supported by the analysis of footage, but I doubt BBC 5 Live commentary would've gone into that.
Furthermore, you say Hamilton's switch of tyres was a "rookie" mistake. It also seems that BBC 5 Live missed the massive factor that caused the cock-up... radio-communication failure.
I don't think the radio failure didn’t come out until after the race so of course it wouldn’t be picked up!
Just a thought. Jenson is only twelve points behind Hamilton, despite having an extra retirement. They certainly are turning out to be more evenly matched in terms of results this year. JB has actually been on the podium more.

Well, if you'd have tuned into the BBC's F1 Forum with your best mate Eddie Jordan, then you WOULD have known.
It's not as easy as you make out to see the oncoming Force India... one blink and it's gone. And that's using a propped-up camera!

He's an excellent, excellent racer. It's just Vettel's, Hamilton's and Alonso's fanboys that claim he is nowhere near as good.
He's done more than enough to ensure his reputation as a brilliant talent.

I certainly think he's the smarter of the two, in terms of thinking about the race on the whole. Take Monza 2010 for example; JB took a decision that nobody else on the grid did. They all went for a low-downforce setup with no F-duct, JB decided to whack on the downforce and make use of the F-duct. He could well have won that race, but the Ferrari just had the advantage. Of course, it's all balanced out in the end, Lewis' extreme aggression has won him a number of races. Just look at last week's race. Whilst Jenson started to really pick up the pace just before his retirement, in that race Lewis had the measure of him and I don't think anyone could really deny that.

Ooooh, this borders on heresy in the eyes of some on here
