I think I remember them telling him to use KERS only at the beginning of the hot lap, which indicates that the charging part is not working properly...

Very strange one. Especially when the mechanics pulled an 'all nighter' which made Seb get faster ....and Marky get slower.
They pulled an 'all nighter' making sebs car faster whilst they just 'pulled marks car apart and didnt finish the job off
They pulled an all nighter to undo an upgrade that didn't work I believe. This may come as a shock but there is no conspiracy here.
As for Webber, it seems it was his turn for KERS problems early in qualifying though there was a radio transmission broadcast at the start of Q3 (or was it Q2?) telling him that KERS had come back to life. Webber was struggling a bit in practice as well. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have good race pace, either that or he is just trying to piss of Horner.
