Very strange one. Especially when the mechanics pulled an 'all nighter' which made Seb get faster ....and Marky get slower.

They pulled an 'all nighter' making sebs car faster whilst they just 'pulled marks car apart and didnt finish the job off

They pulled an all nighter to undo an upgrade that didn't work I believe. This may come as a shock but there is no conspiracy here.

As for Webber, it seems it was his turn for KERS problems early in qualifying though there was a radio transmission broadcast at the start of Q3 (or was it Q2?) telling him that KERS had come back to life. Webber was struggling a bit in practice as well. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have good race pace, either that or he is just trying to piss of Horner.

I think I remember them telling him to use KERS only at the beginning of the hot lap, which indicates that the charging part is not working properly...

Great qualifying today really thought Hamilton was going to do it but it was not to be. I would not be surprised to see Hamilton and maybe Button getting ahead of Vettel at the start and then Alonso also not far into the race.

Also had to love the part when Jake said "Fernando the fuel is faster than you" made me laugh.

Hoping this can carry on for the rest of the season as Vettel can be caught.

Its often Felipe who makes the better start initially but he dosent keep his foot in or he gets muscled out. It could be another case of " Felipe..........." Yes the Jake bit made me laugh too

I missed Q today... by the looks of the times I missed a great one so tomorrow's race does look to be incredibly pivotal towards the "momentum" of that pendulum that started to swing away from the Red Bull camp. Now I'm off to do a wee bit of reading, then to think about the fantasy pool results.

Very intresting qualifying. I personally think Ferrari will be much better in the race, and think Alonso should have been 3rd at worst, but seemed to either have some issue or messed up later in the lap.

Massa's confidence will have been majorly boosted.

I can't look past McLaren at the moment though, Vettel was lucky to be on pole imo, as Lewis must have made an error on his last lap, plus he is the only top 10 driver with a fresh set of super softs I think, after that super Q2 lap.

Should be a cracking race tomorrow though.
