I never considered that; if 80hp cars can travel at 60mph on motorways; then half the 160hp should be enough to travel at that speed as it won't require too much energy to reach the pit box as the car will enter the pitlane travelling much faster; it's only really needed to accelerate out of the pit box.
The question I ask is it the whole pitlane including entrance/exit of just between the speed limit lines?
Has the FIA looked at safety aspect of cars leaving a crowded pit stalls under stealth mode? I can see it now....................forward beep-beep alarms.

Why dont they try biofuels like CNG? It gives similar milage and I think it gives a slight power advantage as well.
They might need bigger tanks but that might just be another interesting challenge for the manufacturers.
