I wonder if Red Bull racing got this much hatred for being new in 2005.:rolleyes: Is there no chance they can grow?

It's not hatred for being new, it's hatred for being such a mess. Lola, Prodrive and Epsilon Euskadi are all highly professional organisations and all had facilities in-place, being more prepared for an F1 entry, yet they were turned down for Campos who are now proving to be a bit of a joke.

Ah but just because those organisations are more established racing wise does that really mean they could produce a mid-pack or even better F1 car? They would still be newbies and to assume they would be better is abit presumptuous imho. Would their learning curve be any different, I think not.

I completely disagree. Funding, structure and facilities were already there. They would not have had the mad dash of the Campos-HRT transition and a huge management reshuffle right before the start of a new season and their finances should have seen them covered for the year, not having to give every driver with a big wallet a chance in the car just so that they could survive until the end of the year.

Tonio Liuzzi....

To quote Tiff Needell's twitter

Excitement all round - Liuzzi is back again with HRT! So the one remaining place has gone to someone who's had his chance and blown it ...

Even Tiff has twitter now? Wouldn't have imagined that, heh...

As for Hispania, for me this is perhaps a sign that they might be able to start moving forward. Liuzzi isn't a proper pay driver...

his username is something like tiff_tv

I was thinking about what Tonio brought to the HRT table this morning, the only thing is that, he might be able to say "this is what is missing and this is what we need" but if the development pot is empty then there is still no way forward.

I hate HRT for being HRT. I hate everything about the team. From the name to the management. Their very presence in Formula 1 fills my gut with disgust.

I hate them. Will always hate them, hope they fail & will laugh when they leave. As for Liuzzi signing, well I have never liked him either. So they're a perfect match.

That's like saying a startup in China could be about to release a tablet computer that makes the Apple iPad look pre-historic. Just because it's theoretically not impossible, doesn't mean there is any reason to believe it's the case. The fact is, more qualified outfits submitted proposals and were rejected, whilst the team which was accepted barely had two cars ready for the first event
