Have you ever considered that Lewis' car breaks more often because of his driving style? Driving the car fast while bringing the car home is another aspect of F1; Jenson will almost certainly bring the car home, maybe further down the road but he is unlikely to crashout. It's kinda the tortoise and the hare story really, Jenson could conceivably beat Lewis because he is friendlier on the car. But that said, the McLaren is pretty tough, so Jenson will need to play Lewis at his own game unless of course it rains for the remainder of the season, Jenson is the better driver in the wet I believe! I'm not willing to count JB out just yet!!
By far the fastest driver today..With the same car he'll destroy anyone!
LH: 157 pts.
JB: 147 pts.
Destroy? Really?
With the 'same' car let's take into account reliability issues are the same as well. Taking Lewis' positions in the Spanish/Hungary races assuming he finished them, you'll find the scoreboard leaning more towards 'Destroy'....I assure you.
This is all 'ifs' of course, so it doesn't matter. But what matters is Lewis beats Jenson and no one has any doubts he will. As long as the car doesn't buckle under him too many times from now.
