Retroactive punishment will be impossible. Specially since most people want 'sporting' sanctions to Ferrari... so if they take away a championship pt for Ferrari now, will they remove the same pts for the other teams that HAVE used team orders in the past?? That'll be very interesting hehe
Even more... the championship is not over yet... who will police the remainder of the season to make sure team orders are not taking place. Or are they only going to punish the team orders in which one of the drivers makes the OBVIOUS representation of a team order. ie smedley and Massa?
The rule makes no sense. There;s no way to police it. The show will be better with Ferrari having a driver fighting for the championship... and since the SPIRIT OF THE RULE is to keep the spectacle going.... then... hmmm. Isnt that what Ferrari did? they followed the spirit of the rule.
A team order today is worth the same as a team order in the last race, or the beggining. A team order has no way of being proven... or "correctly issued" or even known if it would or not affected the final outcome.
Lauda is only trying to manipulate the media and the FIA into making it seem as if the fans and what should be done is a 'pasting'. No Niki... that's YOUR opinion, and of those who want somebody else to win or to fight for the WDC. Maybe because he's austrian he's fighting and hoping for his team to actually win the WDC as well.......
According to Racechick, girls are better at reading arrogance.
So I guess males are better at reading BS.
