Heidfeld doesn't have flashes of genius
To be honest - I agree. I'd have him in the next group down. But I got talked down - it seems he has some fans on the forum!!
But hey, if 2-3 more people agree, there'd be an argument for moving him down...
Juliet
Ok - I think I'm going to go for Amanda's tactic and go for groups, within which people can decide the exact positioning themselves!
Group 1 - great or destined to be great
1. Alonso
2. Hamilton
3. Raikkonen
4. Massa
5. Vettel
Group 2 - very, very solid, with flashes of genius
6. Button
7. Barrichello
8. Webber
9. Rosberg
10. Kubica
11. Heidfeld
Group 3 - solid, could have a good season or two, but likely to never achieve greatness
12. Kovaleinen
13. Glock
14. Buemi
15. Fisichella
16. Sutil
17. Trulli
Group 4 - some promise
18. Bourdais
19. Kobayashi
20. Liuzzi
Group 5 - simply bad
21. Piquet Jr
22. Grosjean
23. Nakajima
24. Badoer
Everyone happy?

Alguesuari - dammit, I knew I would miss someone out! Algy goes in the bad group.
Genuinely, I would swap Heidfeld and Glock - but not everyone agrees with us, Alex!
19. Kobayashi (Lack of experience drags him down)
That's my rough assessment. They're grouped by similar skill levels, so anyone in any group on his day could be better than the rest.

HE should swap JB and FM.
How many DNFs did Button have in 2008?
OK, it's pointless arguing. Because I know that you will respond with "How many WDCs does Button have; how many does Massa have?" And then I will have to surrender.
Fine then - leave Button there. We will see where he is next year!
