I think JB can do but I also think Rubens and Sebastien can aswell, should be a nailbiter ending to the season.

Lewis's dad just stands at the front rubbing that pussycat dolls arse.
Button has been beaten off the grid because most of the cars around him; Ferrari's and McLaren's have KERS, His car isn't as dominant as it was at the start of the season as the major players have caught up and it seems Ross Brawn has no answers.

Hm, I rate Ross extremely high. Think about the following scenario: RB doesn't want to spend his pennies on this year's car as it seems JB/BrawnGP have a big enough margin from earlier on to bring home both titles. Ross would rather focus on next year's car and spend his money there to make sure he'll be competitive again. Now with Mercedes coming in and bringing big $$$, Ross could speculate and put a LOT of money into the early next year's car with the idea to pour Mercedes $$$ into it as the season progresses to keep up with the development race that is surely to come from Ferrari and McLaren.

Is it really so painful, Gregg?

That's one scenario but we know that the Brawn has had a few upgrade packages and has still moved backwards down the grid. We all know that Ross Brawn is a technical genius hence Brawn stealing a march on the rest of the grid with the double diffuser at the start of the season. But now that everyone has implemented the split diffuser system, Brawn's advantage has fallen away and been overtaken. Brawn have done enough to clinch the constructors championship, only requiring a single point; but the drivers championship is still uncertain with JB only scraping into the minor points in the last half dozen races with the exception of Valencia.

Well, the potential decision to save big bucks on this year's car could have been made a while ago when the picture was still looking very favorable. And then just minimal upgrades would have been added to keep the competition from running over BrawnGP. The alternative could have been to push for the Merc KERS system to integrate into this year's car (once it became clear it represents an advantage, probably around the same time they may have decided to switch focus onto next year's car), but Ross decided not to as such a major overhaul would have cost a lot, may well not be necessary and could have compromised next year's car (remember Ferrari/McLaren's arms race last year and what happened to them earlier this season?). I'm not saying this all happened in this way, but it's a possibility and I wouldn't put it past Ross...

And I also remember BMW abandoning Robert Kubica's title charge in favour of developing the 2009 car! It's entirely possible that next years Brawn Mercedes will be woefully off the pace like Ferrari and McLaren were at the start of the season. If Ross did decide the focus on the 2010 car much earlier in the season, I believe that would be a foolish decision given the resources available to teams like Ferrari and McLaren. I wonder what went wrong with the Brawn as the Red Bull has been consistently fast despite not having KERS. Could it be the change of brakes that manmonkey eluded to that has caused the massive drop off in form? if so why didn't Ross return to the previous brakes?
I hope he can do it but something keeps making me wet myself
