Possibly not a totally fair decision considering a lot of the other events on the track but I think it was because he took full advantage of his mistake.

I didn't realise they had to sign something. I have to admit my first thoughts were - oh, Ferrari stretching the rules to their limits again

2- why that penalty to kubica for colliding with LH? this is the game, this is motorsports, he didn't done it intentionally, but most of all, LH was still in race after it although he lost a position. so why ralf hasn't been punished for the collision with Yamamoto with a 10 position shift? maybe becuase none of them is a 20 year old leader of the championship..

I was puzzled by this one - OK they collided, but I didn't see the need for a penalty?

Loved the last minute action between Massa and Kubica - great racing!!
Feel really, really sorry for Vettel because he was doing so well.
And fab drive from Kimi! Shame Ferrari stuffed up the tyre situation or I think he would have stood a great chance of winning the race.

but I find it quite sad to see such bitterness around the forum after such an entertaining and eventful race showing for the most a lot of extreme driving skill from all the drivers.

The teams were emailed with instructions about the tyres and Ferrari claim they didn't recieve the email until after the race start. I seriously doubt that whoever sent the emails suddenly realised a couple of laps into the race he'd forgotten about Ferrari and then sent it to them.

If all the commentators, and their grandmothers, knew about it then Ferrari knew about it. If nothing else, the lady in the photocopying shop would have called them and told them!

I don't believe that Italian trash. Every other team knew, every other driver knew, all of the press knew. The truth is Ferrari have manipulated the computers to make it seem they did not know about intermediate, or wet - not super-wet - tyres being banned for the start. Ferrari are hardly the face of honesty and, furthermore, they've been given enough over the past few years, don't you think. Besides, the dopes made the wrong choice of tyres anyway.

The fact is, without German efficiency and British common sense, Ferrari have fallen into the shambles they always were. The cars aren't quick enough or reliable enough. They try to circumvent the rules. They make mistakes with Massa's pitstops. Massa overtakes under the safety car, and then tries to do his drive-through penalty under the safety car. When Massa was ahead of Raikkonen and they brought Massa in, I thought it was a tactical move to let Raikkonen ahead, but when I saw the fuel going in, I thought what a bunch of arses. How they must be missing Schumacher and Ross Brawn.

As for the honest racers on the track, it's a shame what happened to Webber and Vettel. I think Vettel was even more upset, however, he will learn from the experience. What happened to Button was also sad. He was on for a good result.

There were a number of other drivers who did well: Kovalainen, Coulthard, Sutil and Raikkonen.

Hamilton did very well to keep the car on the track and make little or not mistakes, unlike Alonso. Incidentally, for the first time ever, or certainly not far off, Alonso made mention of the good work of the team!

Honestly, it is *really* not feasible for them to tamper with the computers like this. Their only defence can be that Domencali either didn't download the emails from the server in time, or he didn't read hi mails prior to the race. I personally feel that Ferrari tried to bend the rules and it didn't work, and now they have come up with some lame excuse that holds no water.

Bob Varsha stated that when it's an issue of safety the FIA can make or change rule's without any approval from the team's. I have to admit that I believe my beloved Ferrari just outright "dropped the ball" with their choice of starting tire's. It was said that the rain had started early and just got heavier and heavier as the morning progressed so I am baffled by their decision.

I don't agree kubica did it intentionally, Lewis show great skill as a fan I am very proud of him.......Kimi have alway been in good cars and done jack nothing with them.
