Super Aguri have arrived at Melbourne ready to start the new season despite suffering from severe financial difficulties. The Japanese team have been forced to miss almost all of the pre-season test sessions due to financial problems and less assistance from Honda than they enjoyed last year.
The German magazine Auto Motor und Sport reported that Super Aguri had been saved by a mystery source compromising a British company, a Middle Eastern sponsor as well as some German involvement. However, there is no official confirmation that the team have resolved their financial problems.
The team s freight began arriving in Melbourne today and the cars are expected to follow soon.
