This weekend’s F1 race at Silverstone will see the return of just a single DRS overtaking zone.
The previous two races in Canada and Valencia contained a single detection point and two overtaking zones. Critics felt that the system worked too wel in Canada and not well enough in Spain.
The FIA have now decided to go back to the same system that was present in the first six races of the 2011 season – a single detection point (at Turn 3) and a single DRS overtaking zone just after Turn 4.
