The FIA has revealed the provisional calendar for the 2009 season. The most notable point of the calendar is that the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will make it s first appearance in F1, replacing the US race at Indianapolis. France is also listed as hosting a Grand Prix and it is expected that despite rumours to the contrary, it will be Magny-Cours once again that host the race.
The season will once again begin in Australia at the end of March, and will end in November in Abu Dhabi. The Turkish Grand Prix has moved to August from May, and the British Grand Prix will now be held before the French Grand Prix.
The provisional calendar for the Formula One 2009 season is currently as follows:
