Honda’s new marketing idea

Honda, left without a sponsor since the departure of cigarette sponsor Lucky Strike, have hinted that they are going to be using a unique marketing plan for next season and will also have an unusual racing livery that will “surprise” everyone.

According to Nick Fry, “you will not see a car covered in Honda logos – it will be something very different.” Honda are aiming for two ‘launches’ – one for the car and one for the marketing concept, and the new livery will probably not be officially revealed until a few days before the Australian Grand Prix in March 2007.

Currently, Honda’s cars are testing in a black livery.
