Do you think its a good idea to start a thread and then ask people with differing opinions to you not to comment :confused:

I shoot a super soaker-particularly effective with troublesome cats.

My mates in the local police force. Another mate's husband is a detective, so yeah I hear a bit about what goes on .

That these threads have a habit of turning into big rows about guns and their pros/cons (usually in a UK vs US manner). Which i'm assuming was the logic behind tex's original post.
