Should know better than what? My mates in the local police force. Another mate's husband is a detective, so yeah I hear a bit about what goes on .

That these threads have a habit of turning into big rows about guns and their pros/cons (usually in a UK vs US manner). Which i'm assuming was the logic behind tex's original post.

Who would those be? I merely tried to open a mature discussion amongst shooting enthusiast before I was blindsided by, well I'll refrain from that part of my opinion.
