Not very good but it gives us an idea of the track.

I watched that yesterday when I was looking at the one of the Valencia circuit. I have to say that I'm a little bit disappointed with Singapore's circuit. Very few of the corners connect, so the drivers won't find it too challenging. There are a mixture of faster and slower corners, so there will be a bit of a challenge for the boffins in that regard. Overall, I think Valencia looks the better of the two, but, nevertheless, it's good to see some more street circuits on the calendar.

From that video, it definitely looks wider than Monaco, though the lack of run-off areas suggests that there will be several safety car periods and, to be honest, I would not be too surprised if the race came under threat of a red flag. :/

I agree that the new Valencia circuit looks much better.

On the subject of the Valencia circuit, I just downloaded it and had a go in rFactor to see what it looked like and, if it's accurate, then it's certainly wider than Monaco and has plenty of run-off areas in critical places, though people will be happy to know that it's not all around the track. The barriers aren't as close together as Monaco - think Montreal, instead. However, unlike both of those circuits, it's a very fast Tilke-style track.

So, overall, the street-circuit features are a Hamilton thing, whilst the track layout seems more of a Massa thing. Could be an interesting race indeed :)

...think Montreal...

That's the first circuit I thought of when I saw it.

Yeah, I've had a few 'Wall of Champions' moments this evening :P

But yeah, comparing the track to Monaco within the game (which seems to be an accurate representation of the real circuit) you get the feeling that you're less likely to lose your nose to the barriers but much more likely to make contact to either another car's sidepods or else hit the walls side-on. I'll try to record a decent lap tomorrow evening for anyone who wants a tour of the circuit but doesn't have rFactor. :)
