So does anyone believe anything will come from this? Surely exiting your box into the side of another car with Honda mechanics in harms way is dangerous?

It was a 50:50 decision to let Alonso go, and this time it didn't workout, so he should be punished, simple as.if it was a 50/50 decision to release Fernando from his box, and he leaves WITHOUT any crashing into mechanics or any cars, THEN WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE????? when he left his pit box it DID work out, because he left the pits with no incident!!!.......i think it was fisichella who was approaching Fernando , and fisichella is not in contention for the world title......so would you rather see Alonso have to give way to no-hoper fisichella , and that would have ruined any chance Alonso had of catching Massa, or would you rather see the fastest drivers who are competing for the title at the front??.........

without calling YOU a moron or throwing my toys out of the pram, i will say this......if you were in Fernandos position, how would you have felt if you were punished by the fia(sco) for this exact incident that you yhink he should have been penalised for?????"!!!.........i tell ya this much too, if he had been penalised then i would not be watching f1 again!!!! they are RACING!!!!......DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS????It was a 50:50 decision to let Alonso go, and this time it didn't workout, so he should be punished, simple as.if it was a 50/50 decision to release Fernando from his box, and he leaves WITHOUT any crashing into mechanics or any cars, THEN WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE????? when he left his pit box it DID work out, because he left the pits with no incident!!!.......i think it was fisichella who was approaching Fernando , and fisichella is not in contention for the world title......so would you rather see Alonso have to give way to no-hoper fisichella , and that would have ruined any chance Alonso had of catching Massa, or would you rather see the fastest drivers who are competing for the title at the front??.........
The fact that nothing went wrong doesn't mean that it wasn't wrong you moron. Just because no-one has had a fatal accident in F1 for quite a while does not mean the push for safety should stop! It's the fact that something COULD have happened, and the pit lane is not the place to take risks with other peoples safety! Jeez some people
