Personally, I'd have just let them cheat. After all, they're only cheating themselves. Sooner or later they'll get found out. I tend to just say'em and concentrate on what I'm doing.

As I said,'em. It's they're problem if they want to cheat. They'll come a cropper sooner or later. They problem is that it's been sent to everyone, not a select few so my worry would be that everyone is labelled as being guilty, irrespective of whether or not everyone has read the test, and everyone would be in it rather than just the ones that circulated the test.
