Personally, I'd have just let them cheat. After all, they're only cheating themselves. Sooner or later they'll get found out. I tend to just say 'em and concentrate on what I'm doing.

As I said, 'em. It's they're problem if they want to cheat. They'll come a cropper sooner or later. They problem is that it's been sent to everyone, not a select few so my worry would be that everyone is labelled as being guilty, irrespective of whether or not everyone has read the test, and everyone would be in it rather than just the ones that circulated the test.

Man it was awkward today. I passed by the Prof today and he said "Thanks again" to me...and when I got to class I learned that those 2 in the email have been stripped off the test results. The Prof had sent them an email stating what, and why. And they are livid, understandably, trying to guess who the 'traitor' was. Goddamn it sucks, even if I feel I've done the right thing.

Even so, they are generally effecting the ethics and standards of the class and institution Hammer is part off.

Serves them right for cheating but yeah you've left yourself open. Depends how much of a clique there is - better hope they're not a class of Button supporters! Doesn't help with your Professor being less than subtle.
