You mean manual - manual stick shifts. i.e non sequential H style open gate thingies with left pedal clutch?

That would be fun watching drivers make the engines last 5 races without dropping from 7th to 2nd by mistake once a race and blowing the pistons through the engine cover

Why not have steel disc brakes as well, and maybe throw in double the steering lock travel and abolish power steering

Wouldn't be the pinnacle of motorsports though...

That's because the pinnacle of motorsports is high efficiency high power turbo with energy recovery. :D

If that was the case you'd want way smaller higher bar turbo engines with far bigger MGU's and covered with solar panels. Perhaps we could add some pedals for the drivers hooked up to the recovery system. :-)
