Why not have steel disc brakes as well, and maybe throw in double the steering lock travel and abolish power steering

If that was the case you'd want way smaller higher bar turbo engines with far bigger MGU's and covered with solar panels. Perhaps we could add some pedals for the drivers hooked up to the recovery system.
