They're both pretty fair drivers on the track. Even thou they've both been in some controversy, like lewis' weaving row or the kimi thing at Spa... I have to say, when the two are against each other or anyone, they are quite sportsmanlikely.... During the Senna and Prost era, i think there was a bit more annimosity even if they had respect for eachother.
As for driving, when they were on the same car, they were very even. You would say Lewis was a rookie, but in my opinion that was his best yr.
Lewis makes a bit more mistakes, but is perhaps a faster Qualyfier and maybe gets used to the car faster.... Like, his base performance doesnt change much. Unlike almost everyone else's. Alonso is also quick to adapt.... And hard working. Out working Massa is not an easy task..... I guess Alonso is more of a leader. Able to take matters and decisions (like strategy, set up etc)by his own means, sort of like Button/schumacher? . While Lewis seems to prefer a bit more guidance; sort of like Kimi?: give me a good car, and good strategy; i'll win.
Other than that.... Kinda of a late thread hehehe
Oh and Lewis' fans are worse.

Came out fighting indeed.
