These are two great drivers with great respect for each other, however they have a huge rivalry and are for ever fighting tooth and nail for every victory over each other.

Now ignoring the fact that Mclaren are having issues (Although ignoring that won't last for long) are we watching the start of a Senna/Prost Rivalry? One that will give us amazing racing or am I just living in hope?

The start of a rivalry? it started the moment Lewis set foot in F1. It's calmed down a lot since then but I'm sure they love the on track encounters as much as the fans, even in sundays race when they weren't racing each other.

The rivalry has died down.

Both of them have matured as drivers and seem to have put a lot of the past behind them.

I think Alonso has said he wouldn't mind driving alongside Lewis in the same team again.

I doubt if it will be like Senna/Prost.Probably not.But the other parts,I agree!

It was pretty much like Senna and Prost back in 2007!!! Oh yes it was! They positively loathed each other. Disastrous year for McLaren in oh so many ways. That was a clear-cut WCC that went right down the drain.

I'm sure the rivalry'll still be there, I doubt there's any other driver either of them would rather race against on an equal footing.

In terms of championships Hamilton v Alonso is close, however Prost was too far ahead of Senna for there to be a comparison.

I'm sure that opinion won't raise any eyebrows :)

Is it me or is Lewis' helmet bigger?

It's you. Bright colours plus the angle is giving us that illusion. :)

I don't see a rivalry anymore. There may be a bit of jealousy from either side, I have no idea. But they act like friends nowadays instead of bitter rivals

I wonder what they'd act like if it was just the two of them vying for the title? Hmmm :scratchchin:
