Why dont teams make there own diffuser instead of sitting back and complaining?

Not all of them can adapt the design to suit their car.

The FIA have already (kind of) given their opinion on it, in the form of Charlie Whiting's inspection. However, ultimately, it's up to the stewards of the event to decide on the part's legality. That is a system which needs to be changed immediately.

Because they're losing power to FOTA. If they get FOTA arguing amongst themselves about the diffusers, it may become easier for them to push the teams further apart.

I think the FIA are going a good job for a change. Basically they have given everyone a few week reprieve, all the teams without a fancy diffuser are busy designing one, and all the people with a fancy diffuser are designing a non fancy one.

If the FIA said last week "No fancy diffuser" then all the people with a fancy diffuser would be up the creak without a paddle. so with a few extra weeks they have more time to design a boring one
