what annoys me is the fact the FIA seam to just be going "what do you want us to do about it"

Why dont teams make there own diffuser instead of sitting back and complaining?
Not all of them can adapt the design to suit their car.

The FIA have already (kind of) given their opinion on it, in the form of Charlie Whiting's inspection. However, ultimately, it's up to the stewards of the event to decide on the part's legality. That is a system which needs to be changed immediately.

Yeh but its causing issues it was boiling up to that point after testing and they haven't done anything to difuse the situation you know?
