So, I would like to see places in the Middle East etc. on the calendar, but only if they build venues which allow for exciting races.

Have to say I disagree here, I think there are enough middle-eastern races as there is and I'd like to see less. In fact I'd prefer to see less perfect tracks in more attractive locations (even if it means more races in Europe or Asia) than even one more middle-eastern race. Let me ask you this, have any of you on this board ever been to a middle eastern country? Even a so called "westernized" one? No offense to anyone, really but they are just not all that much fun and (totally IMHO) not at all worth the cost of international travel and lodging.

I didn't say I'd like to see more races in the Middle East. What I am saying is that for Formula One to truly be a world championship and for the sport to continue developing, it needs to have a presence in all continents (save Antarctica :hehe: ). If that means having a Grand Prix in in the Middle East, I could live with it.

Like you, I've a lot to say about human rights etc. in the Middle East, but the drivers aren't there to have fun, and fans from Europe or wherever aren't compelled to travel to the Grands Prix.

1. AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX - Gold Coast Street Circuit. The Albert Park circuit is boring. The city of Adelaide is boring. We need an interesting Australian Grand Prix. My other pick is Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, which is too narrow.
2. JAPANESE GRAND PRIX - Suzuka Raceway. None of this alternating stuff. Suzuka is heaps better than Fuji, and the fact that its the only figure-8 circuit makes it cooler. :D
3. SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX - The night race. It rocked last year. :D
4. EUROPEAN GRAND PRIX - Imola. That circuit rocks. It's not Imola's fault that Senna and Ratzenberger died. We have plenty more dangerous circuits. The problem was with the car. I don't mind the three chicanes though, so we can keep 'em. Have they really changed the circuit again?
5. SPANISH GRAND PRIX - Catalunya. I don't care what ya'll say about it. This Grand Prix is always one of my favourites. So ner ner! :whip:
6. MONACO GRAND PRIX - Monte Carlo. Well, how can this race not be there? :D
7. GERMAN GRAND PRIX - Nurburgring Nordschleiffe? I mean, if it's really not allowed, then I will be fine with the South Ring. But I have so much fun with this circuit on GT4. None of this alternating crap with Hockenhim.
8. HUNGARY GRAND PRIX - Hungaro-ring. This is also one of my favourite Grands Prix.
9. PACIFIC GRAND PRIX - Aida. Whilst I never did watch any races at Aida. I do remember playing it on my first ever Playstation Game. Before I even cared about Formula One. We take a stop-over back in Asia, on our way to the Americas.
10. CANADIAN GRAND PRIX - Montreal. This track better come back soon.
11. UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX - Indianapolis. I say I'm not a fan of this race. But we have to have a race in USA, and it's unique with Turn 13.
12. BRAZILLIAN GRAND PRIX - Interlagos. I prefer having it here. I don't like having it at the end of the season. I think the end of the Formula One season should be in Europe, where most of the fans are. :D
13. ARGENTINEAN GRAND PRIX - Buenos Aires. Once again, I haven't watched any races on this track, but I do remember playing it on my first play station game.
14. BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX - Umm.. In Bahrain? We stop over in the Middle East on our way back to Europe. Must admit, it's not one of my favourites, but we need one. I just prefer it here in the middle of the season.
16. BELGIUM GRAND PRIX - Spa Fracorchamps. My favourite! The best track, the best turn. Put it in here towards the end of the season. It will be a title-deciding, OMG I can't wait round. :cloud9:
17. ITALIAN GRAND PRIX - Monza. We must race at Monza. I had never watched a Grand Prix at Monza, till last year. I loved it!
18. GREAT BRITISH GRAND PRIX - Donnington Park. The new circuit looks great. The old circuit was a lot of fun too... I remember playing on it in TOCA Touring cars. Actually, I think that was my first game from memory. I'm confused...

So, using this set-up the Grand Prix are kind of mixed up. I mean, it still follows a certain pattern.

It starts in Asia, goes to Europe, stops back in Asia, goes to the Americas, then the Middle East en-route to Europe.

See, I was only able to watch the European races last year. I had to take a day off work, just so's I could watch the Brazillian Grand prix, at 3 in the morning. This way, the European races will still be held around the season. And it means that European viewers will get to follow the final month of competition. I couldn't follow the Americas, or Asian Grand Prixs.
