I doubt anyone takes drifting seriously, its more a game than a sport... so once in a while its fun to watch.

Well, I've been watching the 500, and its not that entertaining. The thing that ticks me off are the freakin sponsors. If you think F1 is over commercialized, watch a nascar race. Well I'll just say that nascar is not 'my cup of tea.'

Did Montoya do anything today?

Well I only watched for like the first hour, but when I was watching it, he was up as far as 3rd. I think he's starting to get a hang of it now.

Saw the last ten laps or so... i think there were two crashes... and Jeff Gordon won by a very small margin. I think the most interesting thing about NASCAR is how close the guys race. But then again... they're basically going straight :yawn:

Hey, I'm a race fan.

So am I. I enjoy all sorts of races... except NASCAR.

When I watch forty or so stock cars making their laps around a giant paved oval arbitrarily shuffling positions, I feel like I'm watching one of those duck "games" I see at carnivals. (See image below.)
