An F1 car can go about 340kph.. That's hella fast in mphtexasmr2 wrote:You may want to convert those temps into Celsius for the majority of our members hereStealthgate007 wrote:Im not at work because we have had the worst ICE Storm in 6yrs today. I am working from home. It sucks!!!!I believe my brother is in your neck of the woods working as he runs a crew that installs and repairs powerlines and such. All I know is that at 12pm I was fishing and it was a sunny 75 degree's and then around 5pm the temp had dropped almost 20 degree's.- Fahrenheit is such a retarded way of measuring temps
I'm running a futile crusade against it on a daily basis
So: 24 degrees C and a drop of around 11.
Au contraire my friend: Celsius is metric and has a logical basis: 0 C is when water (the most abundant and important compound for life on Earth) freezes - and it boils at 100 C. Compare this to the arbitrary 32 F for the freezing point and 212 F for boiling (WTF!?).
I actually prefer miles over kilometers. Why? You do about 60 miles per hour on average when you travel - an hour has 60 minutes, so it's very easy to estimate the time it takes to go to a place 45 miles away. Try that with kilometers and it's a bit more involved.
