Only 4 cars finished with Cubehead borrowing one of Schumi's helmets and more importantly, Olivier Panis taking Ligier's last ever win.

..And Montermini crashing on the parade lap.

Poor Montermini, got his first chance in F1 with Simtek in 1994 and injured his foot at Barcelona, then at Monaco in 1995 when driving for Pacific he got black flagged.

And also let's not forget Schumacher using too much kerb and crashing on the first lap.

And when Hill's engine went, you could hear Murray Walker's groan of dissapointment whilst Dr Palmer was yelling "AND SMOKE OUT OF THE BACK OF THE WILLIAMS!! This will be the only time this season so far Hill has failed to finish!".
