That's what Mansell blamed when he infamously spun into the armco busting his rear wing and rear suspension whilst leading the 1984 Monaco GP, and nobody believed him. Looks like after 23 years he definately may have been right.

St Devote's had all kinds of crashes over the years, Ralf injured himself in 2000, Massa ran into the back of Bernoldi's Arrows in 2002, Schumacher ploughed into the tyre wall there one year and Derek Daly had flying lessons in his Tyrrell before landing on his teammate Jarrier in 1980.
