fernando is the worlds most complete racing driver. he deserves driver of the year because not only did he win two races in an inferior car, but behind the scenes he resurrected the renault team, who so hopelessly slipped to the back of the field without him in 07.

Kubica has simply been the most consistently good driver this season so he'd be the deserved winner, but all credit to Alonso for seemingly dragging Renault out of their dark period single handedly.

Alonso has definately been 1 of the top driver's this year by helping Renault get back to winning ways and will continue to do this next year. But Kubica still gets my vote.
