My lovely dog of 10+ years had to be put to sleep yesterday morning
She was such a lovely girl, I grew up with her and its so wierd not having her around. She was nearly 13 so she had done so well, but yesterday morning her back legs had gone, so we phoned the vet and had her put to sleep at home, myself and mum were there with her. She looked so relaxed, she wasnt scared, I think she knew what was going to happen. Me and my mum were in bits but she looked so ease, even when the vet gave her in the injection she just sat there. The vet gave her half the dosage to begin with as he vein in her foreleg was weak, but she nodded off to sleep and as she was dozing the vet gave her the rest of her dosage in her back leg.She looked so peaceful, she was lying there, eyes still open but she was gone. I gave her a massive hug and managed to cry all over her but yeah my little angel. We are having her cremated, so she should be back in a week where we shall scatter her ashes in the woods
She was my first dog, you never forget your animals and I esp wont forget her:(
Miss her
