Well at least we can get the current worst F1 track out of the way, but it's got pretty "good company" with it in the form of Malaysia and Bahrain which are also Tilke creations which makes a bit of a sour looking trio of races.

Oh god, i didn't realise that one! :(

Malaysia, China, Bahrain and.... Spain all next to each other!!

It's getting to the stage of banking totally on the new aero regs making those races interesting... :( Bahrain and Spain are by far the biggest offenders, and i can't think of any really interesting Malaysian GP since '99... at least China has had rain in recent years, but that was sheer luck! :thumbdown:

It may sound random, but i really miss the San Marino GP near the start of the season, we've seen a few good races there and at the very least it's a great track... i love that place despite 'that' day.

DAMN!! Even worse... :cryfloods::cryfloods::cryfloods:

The regulations might make the races at Bahrain and Malaysia better but NOTHING will ever make Catalunya-wn exciting except rain.

I miss San Marino, it was always the first sign that Spring was truley here and more often than not for dinner whilst watching the race in most of the years I've seen this race we've had Lasagne, Pasta or Spaghetti.

I adored Imola, even after being butchered up after Senna's death. It perhaps didn't produce a hell of a lot of overtaking, but the flow of the circuit was brilliant. Tamburello is still a good corner, for it's more tough than other corners to choose the braking point should somebody be trying to pass you. Villeneuve still offers a challenge and getting the entry right to Tosa is as tough as ever. The comes Piratella, Aqua Minerale - still a great corner - and the run up to the Variante Alta - which was ruined in 2006. Then, there was the wonderful run down the Rivazza section and the still-tricky Variante Bassa. :cloud9: Sadly, though, Tilke has been about and has ruined the last corner! :yikes::censored::crying:

I was quite shocked when I tuned into Eurosport a few weeks back to watch a World Touring Car Championship race at Imola, they even moved back the starting grid! That chicane's there no more... :(

I'm kind of glad we get China out the way early, it's more exciting when you have gem after gem to look forward to. Last season having Spa and Monza within a week was heavenly. The best run of races next season comes at the very end, which is definitely the best way round: Spa, Monza, Singapore, Suzuka, Interlagos. Don't know about Abu Dhabi, but it's the season finale, it'll be exciting anyway. Singapore's the only question mark from those 5, but if there's rain then what a series of races in store to close out the season
