I love how Ferrari fans assume that someone who complains about them is a McLaren fan.
I agree that true fans of a team stick with them through good times and bad. But if you doubt that I can be a true fan of a team, I support Leeds United. If you know football you will know exactly what I mean.
I'm not a McLaren fan, I am a fan of good drivers. Button, Fisi, Trulli and Alonso were my favourite drivers so I followed Renault for a while. I don't really have a team in F1 any more (yes, I am a Hamilton fan though). So I think I am in a good position to assess the various antics of the F1 teams.
By the way I thing you have some serious issues if you can tolerate the wrong actions of a team you support and still stick with them. Especially if they are against the traditions and/or rules of the sport in question.
Ferrari are one of the reasons I enjoyed Sebastian Vettel's victory at Monza so much. Ferrari, McLaren and the rest were shown up by a car run by the majority of the Minardi team, a genuine Italian team who have now proved that if they had received the financial backing of the top teams all those years ago, they too could have been winning Grands Prix.
The victory for Toro Rosso could be the best thing I've ever seen in F1, and one of the reasons my faith in F1 is now fully restored.
Number 1, I do not have any serious issues whatsoever. Despite what you say, weather it is true or not, that is no reason why anyone should change teams. Obviously you said you started watching F1 as a Ferrari Fan and then changed because you didn't like Ferrari's behaviour. I can see you were not never a true fan as if you were you wouldn't change teams. No one does. Just like a real football supporter of their club wouldn't. I know Brtits who support Ferrari and they would never change teams nor support McLaren or even Lewis Hamilton over Ferrari. This is now in the present after all the accusations you bring forward about Ferrari in current decade. Although they like anyone else can admit any wrong doings by Ferrari, if their heart like my heart is with Ferrari, they like I share a passion for the team, why would we eveb consider changing? McLaren last year cheated. That is a bigger offence then all these little things Ferrari has done this decade according to you. (And I don't care how you try and say McLaren didn't really cheat). After the Spygate I don't see any McLarenites turn to Ferrari or any other team do I? They stick to their team in good times and bad times. To me what it seems is that no one else but Ferrari can do wrong and people start believing that crap and then do the unthinkable and change sides. Well that is for the weak minded and untrue loyal supporters. That isn't me so I'll be a Ferrari Tifosa until the day I die.
