Honestly as tight as the points are this year (penalties not withstanding ) I don't think either car is superior, I think that's why they hold the races, so the teams can prove it on the track. Hopefully the last race won't be riddled with silly Steward's calls, and the Teams and Drivers will be able to show us who deserves to be the Constructor's Champion and the World Driving Champion.
Of course AKR, if the Ferrari's are that much more superior, it makes Hamilton's wins and championship points over the superior Ferrari's an even better accomplishment.

You're starting to lose your subtlety at making McLaren appear to be the best but not just saying "McLaren are better". That phrase of McLaren having the superior in 2007 and also in 2008 if you want to add that in is a total nonsense. Ferrari have had the best car last season and this season and you know it. Weather they really cheated or not is irrelevant to the fact that Ferrari's cars were better and in general are still better to this day. McLaren is just lucky they have someone that can drive their cars and push the car to the max.
Um, really? I think it's pretty clear last year the McLaren had the better car, and if McLaren hadn't been stripped of their points they would have won the constructors' title by a country mile with a comparable driver line-up to Ferrari. It actually makes Kimi's title even sweeter. This year? Very very close. I do think on balance the Ferrari has the edge on speed but, so far, the McLaren has been almost perfect on reliability. It basically comes down to whether you think McLaren's position in the Constructors' standings is down to being consistently outpaced by Ferrari overall, or having Kovalainen not really doing the business. The other thing is that if the Ferrari is slightly better in the dry, it's terrible in the wet - probably slower than the Torro Rossos.
I guess you are another McLaren supporter than cannot accept reality. Ferrari's car is and was better overall in 2007 and 2008. No way McLaren was quicker no way. Even this year Ferrari are the only ones to have gotten a 1 and 2 finish and they have done so 3 times this year and it could of been more times. And when Ferrari did that they whipped the opposition. Yes McLaren were quicker in some races like Germany and China but that is about it. Ferrari could of easily have gotten a 1 and 2 in Singapore and in Malaysia as well to name a few. And even at Silverstone had it not rained that badly. You McLarenites need to get over yourselves. Even if Lewis Hamilton wins the drivers title and as you all claim "Deservingly", Ferrari no doubt deserves the constructors title as they were the best team. Simple. That is all.
