I would say most people here are great. In particular Anna (Racechick), Chris (McLaren Fan), Brad (Bud) and new kid on the block Longbow. All happen to be McLaren supporters by the way and all with a wealth of knowledge and points of views worth of a converstion. (Even if I don't always agree). I have always loved F1 and have had a vast and rich knowledge but am very biased regarding my team. This is normal given my passion towards F1 and Ferrari and I expect the same from the above McLarenites (Except not for Ferrari but for McLaren of course). They have in converstion allowed me to appreciate the view from the "other side" and for that I am always greatful. But what we don't need here is people getting personal and getting down right low. To Maily I don't need to speak to people like yourself if your not prepared to appreciate my values and just take me for some "uneducated Slovenian-Italian girl" as you called me on another post. If you can just open your eyes you'll see that I am highly educated. But if you wont then here is my advice, don't converse with me. Simple.

"And first of all we need to have a competitive car here in Shanghai and in Brazil to be fighting with McLaren and Ferrari, and if we do that and Felipe Massa wins the race and I am second or third, I will be happy for Felipe to take as many points as possible and this is the only approach."The word help, nor the implication of him trying to help, is mentioned in there, yet the only headlines I've seen tagged to it are "Alonso vows to help Massa". I think it's something that is slightly unfair on the guy, but then, that's the press.

stonemonkey wrote:TBH I think Alonso's over his frustrations from earlier in the season and is just out to prove himself and his words about helping Massa were just to stir things a bit.KR wouldn't do anything. 1. he doesn't want to compromise his chances next year with some ban or whatever he might get for a stupid move of this proportion (i.e., deciding the championship). 2. he doesn't really want FM to win - he'd have to contend with a world champion in his own team, tough...
My only concern is about what Kimi might do if he gets near Hamilton

That looks like Colt 1911 (or one of it's successors) with some modifications and good old Bowie Pathfinder, or something similar. Am I wrong?

My opinion? the last one.
And Alonso will be doing a good thing if he helps Massa to win the title, he passed a lot of things in McL. The guys prefered to make a new driver whenthey already got one .. too bad for they .. if they supported Alonso last year, they would have winned the champ.

Rivelution wrote:I knew it was Alonso's grudge against McLaren, and not Lewis for Alonso to say this thing. When asked by SPEED's Peter Windsor, Alonso said it wasnt that he didnt want Hamilton to win its just that he would rather have the Ferrari beat the McLaren. He stated that he had great respect for Lewis, and that they have a great relationship but that he would prefer Ferrari to win mainly because of what happened at McLaren last year.I'm pretty sure that his comment was "would be happy for Felipe to take as many points as possible", not "would be happy to help Felipe to take as many points as possible".
I still dont think Alonso should've said that he would 'help' Massa win the title though.

Kimi has done it! The youngest ever F1 champion. A[…]
