Alonso, the most outspoken critic of Hamilton's driving in the Belgium GP, went on to confirm that, "without a doubt", he would attempt to help Felipe Massa win the title ahead of Hamilton.[/i]

This is actually something that's in doubt at the moment. According to a lot of sources, there was a mis-translation and his comment (in Spanish) was that if he was in Kimi's shoes, he'd do whatever he could to help Massa win the title.

And what about Alonso not knowing what it was Hamilton got penalised for, claiming he did and that the punishment was fair enough, and then later saying he was glad Hamilton was punished anyway?

Alonso is a tosser!
Nope P-F1 WRONG AGAIN
THEY REALLY SHOULD LEARN TO TRANSLATE SPANISH:
SOCTORRES
"Does anyone in PF1 double check translations or speak more than one language? AS reported: "¿Y qué le parece la sanción a Hamilton? No sé lo que hizo, pero bien penalizado está (se ríe)." This is translated as: "Don't know what he did, but he's well sanctioned (he laughs)." So it's a joke... that's all. Whether this is really bad journalism or it was done on purpose... Either way, it speaks really badly of this site."

PF-1, in response to my submission says : No problem. If you want to read a full transcript of the interview made by a non-journalist from the 'so-called motor sports press', visit the PF1 Forum at http://forum.planet-f1.com/index.php?t= ... 5&start=0& where a Spanish member has provided his own transcript. I have and the bit pertaining to Alonso comment reads as follows: QUOTE. What do you think about Hamilton's penalty? I don't know what he did, but he's well punished . (Technically he might mean "the penalty certainly hurt him" because it'd be the same words in Spanish, but... probably not.) UNQUOTE. In conjunction with Igor¿s response this reads to me as someone making an ironic, tongue in cheek comment not a factual judgement, especially as the translation itself qualifies an alternate meaning. Bu
t, as they say, don¿t let the truth get in the way of a good story! I stand by my earlier response.
I think Alonso hates McLaren, not Hamilton.
Miss,Mrs or whatever, cannot believe you would be married, you truely are a w***er. Now you need the rest of the field, plus FIA to beat Hamilton.
