I think the problem is that once the light goes green you cannot stop the driver anymore, but with a lollipop man you can put the lollipop down again, even if the driver moved a bit forward. Unless the green light is lit when the fuel rig is completely disconnected - not when the fuelling is complete, I can't see a safe way for this to work.

don't forget those Ferrari incident didn't just help Hamilton, it helped all other teams.
Just wish Jenson got as much media attention as others, he is British to!
I don't expect he'll get a BBC contract or consulting job when he retires!!!! :(

they should have a system where the cars are jacked up while the refueling rig is still attached, when the fueling is finished and the hose pulled out this drops the cars down and ready for release!
will make stops longer than they are now but if its the same for every team that will not matter!

Hmm. I'm not sure. Formula One is a team sport and how the pit crew operate is a very big part of that, in my view.

Like I said on Sunday, the system has many benefits as well, so it would be unfair not focus on them. :)
