Thankfully, some Ferrari fans see sense, but that fact that over half of them still think what happened was in some way fair is shameful.

That's not over half of Ferrari fans. That's over half of the people who have voted so far on a Ferrari forum with a particular slant.

Well, how else are we to come to conclusions about the views of Ferrari fans? As with any scientific process, all you can do is take a sample of of a particular thing or group and work with that. Having read through several Ferrari fora, we can deduce that about half of the tifosi, give or take, say, percent or so, actually believe what happened today was just. Now, if the decision was fifty-fifty, then I would have no grounds for complaint, but today was a sham. I know it. You know it. Long-standing and casual Formula One fans know it. And even a fair whack of the tifosi have said so. All of this shows how despicable Hamilton's punishment really was.

You take an unbiased random sample. I guess you haven't studied statistics. And you only want to see what you want to see.
As has been said by others on here, even the "vast majority" (direct quote) of Ferrari fans don't approve of this penalty.
